Drop Me A Question is operated by Drop Me A Question LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We built it so people with real experience can answer one question at a time, and so the person asking pays only when they get a personal, written answer.

We believe valuable knowledge deserves a simple way to be shared.
Drop Me A Question lets people get a personal, written answer to one question from someone with real experience, without a subscription, an appointment or a long consultation.
How it works

Experts set up a page
An expert creates a page, sets their own price and how quickly they will reply, and shares their personal link.

Askers ask and pay
Someone with a question opens that link, writes their question and pays through Stripe.

The answer arrives by email
The expert answers in writing. The answer is emailed to the person who asked, with a PDF they can keep.
Experts are independent people. They answer in their own words and set their own prices. Drop Me A Question provides the page, the payment and the delivery of the answer.
How your money is handled
Paid by card through Stripe
Payments are made by card and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Charged only if answered
When you ask a question, your card is authorized but not charged. You are only charged if the expert answers within the time they set.
Released if not answered
If the expert declines, or doesn't answer in time, the authorization is released automatically and you are not charged. Depending on your bank, it can take several days for the hold to disappear from your statement.
